This accreditation enhances our team’s ability to provide compassionate, expert support to families experiencing the devastating loss of an infant. Their specialised training equips them with the knowledge and sensitivity needed to guide families through grief, offering reassurance, resources, and emotional support during such a difficult time.
At Community Futures, we are committed to strengthening our support services to ensure that every family receives the care and understanding they need. This achievement reinforces our dedication to providing the highest standard of family support.
The training led by Chief Executive Chantal Lockey covered:
- Pregnancy and infant loss
- Best practices for supporting bereaved parents
- Assisting clients with subsequent pregnancies after loss
