CF Warm Spaces Project

Community Futures Warm Spaces Project

We are so pleased to announce that our application for ‘Community Futures Warm Spaces Project’ has been approved by Lancashire County Council.

Our warm space will be a welcoming, warm, safe place for adults of all ages to gather and enjoy some company. Throughout the session, we will provide free hot drinks and light refreshments, creating a cozy environment for everyone. Adults will have access to a food market with essential items, along with activities like word searches, crosswords, and colouring. For families with young children, there will be activities designed for preschool ages children and below, plus an opportunity to connect with one of our family support team members for advice and support. It’s a relaxed space to chat, connect with others, use free Wi-Fi, and charge mobile devices. All whilst keeping warm.

Our Offer:

We have talked to local families who can at times during the winter months feel isolated, and many say that going to soft play can get expensive, especially with multiple children. In the past, when we have held coffee mornings at Galloway Hall, people enjoyed meeting others of all ages. Having a food market available will also offer some extra support.
