Lancashire Climate Action Network (LancsCAN)

Community Futures are a member of LancsCAN

Lancashire Climate Action Network (LancsCAN) was formed in June 2023 following the first Lancashire Community Climate Action Forum event help on 17th May 2023 at Edge Hill University, with SustainNET as the lead organiser.

The main aim of LancsCAN is to mobilise Lancashire’s community voice and action on climate change, working collaboratively with others to advance the county’s climate agenda.

Acknowledging the diversity of challenges faced in creating sustainable future for all, LancsCAN has been co-developed by it’s members. It comprises a growing network of community-wildlife, food, green and blue spaces, transport and mobility, housing and building, recycling and waste managed.

LancsCAN are seeking to work with Lancashire’s councils and political leaders to realise the climate, environment and other relevant priorities of the Lancashire 2050 Plan.

LancsCAN do more climate action if we work together!
