“I have lived in the community for 23 years and I am involved through the Parish Council, the Memorial Trust and the Shirdley Hill Community Association. What I value most about the area is the people. I became a Village Agent because it fits with what I already do in the area. I enjoy talking to people and being able to support them when they need it. Living here helps me notice things sooner and offer help before problems grow. Hearing someone say thank you makes it all worthwhile.
Outside of my community roles I help run our design firm J M Crafts where we work with 3D printing, textile printing and jewellery making. I also enjoy the local Lunchtime Club as it gives me the chance to catch up with residents.”
