Another successful AGM. There was plenty to look at, with displays from our childcare activity as well as the Lancashire Environmental Fund. An excellent presentation from Donna Atkinson of Little Green Bus gave everyone plenty to talk about – needs led transport plays such an important part in community life and Donna highlighted this issue very well.
Ray and Maureen Scully of Mawdsley Village Hall expressed surprise and delight at receiving the Harry Yeadon Community Award – worthy winners who are an inspiration to everyone who wants to make a difference in their community!
