We are a small semi-rural, friendly and thriving Playgroup, with excellent staff and a strong management team, dedicated to the care of the children in a safe, secure and stimulating environment.
This setting has places for up to 25 children and has opened its doors to children aged 5-11 years.
The setting acts as a feeder to the local schools and has a strong and long standing relationship with the Methodist School from which the building is leased. The setting received a ’Good’ Ofsted rating in all areas giving parents the confidence that their children are well cared for in a proactive family based environment.
Jigsaw @ Burscough has developed an enhanced physical outdoors area for the children to benefit from. We also follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, which encourages learning through play.

We had a lovely time celebrating World Book Day 2022! Take a look at some of our costumes below:
The children had lots of fun this week trying new foods to celebrate Chinese New Year!
As part of National Storytelling Week, children voted for their favourite ‘book of the week’ to read. Lots of the children read independently and we even had a visit from Julianne from Community Futures. The children also enjoyed scribing their own story.
