Village Halls Resources

Lancashire has an impressive network of village and community halls which individually provide needs led services and facilities for their communities.

A brief look at their websites reveals a remarkable volume of activity, from exercise classes and small group meetings to large scale entertainment and business events. What is even more impressive is that village and community halls are managed by volunteers, sometimes with support from a paid manager/caretaker, but more often rolling up their own sleeves to manage, facilitate and govern all year round.

There is a lot to be done to maintain a community building so Community Futures offers a comprehensive library of information, advice and guidance documents specifically designed for village and community hall management. Access to the library is only available to members and members of LAVCH
